This book is about an external journey to Mt. Meru, (Mt. Kailash) which the Tibetans consider the central-pivot point of the overlapping dimensional worlds - Earth and the higher heavens, "the pure lands".

In this completely true story, Nini's state of Samadhi - a heightened, enlightened reality - contains lucid dreams of lamas who ask her to move the inner pivot point of Mt. Meru to Taktsang Monastery in Bhutan. "Moving Mt. Meru" narrates her supernatural, and all-too-human, experiences fulfilling this task. Hard traveling and pure magical adventure coincide at the mountains and sacred lakes of Asia. Dreams merge with the waking state when a Lama manifests as a raven, seen by all. The raven accompanies Nini throughout the Himalayas, leading her to remote caves by ancient ocean lakes.

It was my second trip to Tibet, where I crossed overland to Mt. Kailash - "Mt. Meru" - then onward to the "Tiger's Nest," Taktsang Monastery, in Bhutan, that formed the main territory of this book.

My first trip to Tibet was a learning experience. The Tibetans, themselves, no doubt fully aware of my future travels, prepared me well. Through their mystic arts of energy transference, past lives' recall, dreams and meditations, I was imparted with the subtle desires and energies that propelled me to Lhasa.

Channeled information lead me to believe that the Tibetan practices would protect our own fields during the upcoming planetary changes. It started out as a seemingly achievable goal - to explore and modernize whole body enlightenment techniques, preserved by the Tibetans. Yet, I was to come to realize, it is next to impossible to preserve the Tibetans' enlightenment techniques without preserving the Tibetans, themselves. I returned home to write "Moving Mt. Meru."
